COACHELLA FEST

What can I say, i am a Coachella Fest junkie! This was my second year going, and im pretty sure ill continue to attend this amazing festival. Some of my favorites have been 2008: Prince(front row!),Bird and the Bee, Man Man, MGMT, and Cafe Tacbva. 2009: M.I.A, the Killers, Travis Barker and DJ AM, and the Yeah yeah yeahs. Cant wait to see what next year has in store for us fans!

Acceptance

So i find myself here once again.I seem to only come here after being heartbroken.So I learned a couple of things in the last couple of minutes, that I’m a control freak and a true soul mate is someone who “is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that’s holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life”(Eat,Pray,Love).What part did my ex bring out in me? He was the one who brought me TO MY OWN attention.Four years of my life were dedicated to him, to us, but unfortunately US is in the past, and I am left with ME.Finally after a month of intense mourning and constant breakdowns I finally have found some knowledge that will help me with this healing process. Letting go. That’s it, that is the answer.So I loved this guy with all my mind (the heart isn’t capable of producing love),but now its time to love myself. He transformed my life in many ways, that's why God put him in my life. No regrets, thank goodness; I only wish I would have known many things I am currently learning before I started the relationship so that I wouldnt have to go through such a painful healing process. Like I said, it is a PROCESS. Like the control freak I am I want everything to go my way, and on my time. Mission impossible. I must accept things as they are.

Christmas/Birthday

So as you all know Christmas is coming up! Woot woot! and my 18 birthday is also in 2 weeks (December 15)! And since these two events have been coming up i have gotten the tradition question "what do you want?"

Honestly this year I do not want anyone to spend money on me. I have asked parents, family, friends to please not get me anything. A card or something they made would make me extremely happy.

I have come to realize that material possessions, for the most part, are no big deal for me anymore. Being around those I love in these special times will make me happier than anything else. :)


P.S:I WILL ACCEPT A PLANE TICKET TO SPAIN :D

Como todos saben ya se acerca la NAVIDAD! Y mi cumpleaños es como en dos semanas (15 Diciembre).Y como se acercan estas fechas muchas personas me han preguntado la tradicional " que vas a querer?"

Sinceramente no quiero que gasten dinero en mi. Le eh pedidio a mis padres, familia, amigos que PORFAVOR no me regalen nada. Una cartita o algo que hicieron ellos mismos me haria MUY FELIZ.

Me eh dado cuenta que las posesiones materiales no son importantes para mi. Soy feliz con lo que tengo. Estar cerca de las personas que amo en estas fechas me haria lo mas feliz posible. :)

MediCARE? I think not!

So after watching SICKO the documentary by Michael Moore, I have realized that I DO NOT want to live in the U.S anymore :( . As a future doctor I can't live with the fact that people are dying everyday because health insurance companies only care about profit. Some people actually prefer having more money in their bank accounts, than saving somebody life. As a doctor I could never live knowing that I am denying people treatment because they don't have health insurance, or that their treatment wasn't approved. ITS MY FRIKEN JOB TO HELP THESE PEOPLE! WHO IS THE GOVERNMENT TO TELL ME THAT I CANT!? ARE YOU FRIKEN SERIOUS!? Like my government teacher says " America is good at two things, killing people and making money." Health care companies are killing two birds with one stone. As soon as I can I am out of here. I think I'll go to Europe where there is universal health care, and people don't die because they can't afford treatment.

Despues de ver la pelicula SICKO me eh dado cuenta que no quiero vivir en los Estados Unidos. Como futura doctora no puedo vivir sabiendo que hay gente muriendose todos los dias porque compañias de seguro nomas les importa el dinero. Hay personas que prefieren ganar mas dinero que salvarle la vida a alguien. Como doctora no podria vivir sabiendo que deje que alguien se muriera porque no tenian suficiente dinero o porque su seguro no cubria la operacion que les salvara la vida. QUIEN ES EL GOBIERNO PARA IMPEDIR QUE HAGA MI TRABAJO?! Como dice mi maestro, "Los Estados Unidos nomas son buenos para ganar dinero y matar gente." Me ire a Europe en donde todos pueden recibir el tratamiento, medicinas, ayuda que necesiten. Tansiquiera estare tranquila haciendo lo que quiero hacer.
